This week the Suffolk Wedding DJ team checked out two gorgeous venues in preparation for two of our upcoming weddings. We always like to visit the venue at least a few weeks prior to the booking, especially if we have never visited before, or the venue has undergone changes since our last function. This is so we can work with the venue to ensure we provide the best possible service for our clients!
The first venue was the beautiful, medieval Pentney Abbey. This stunning Norfolk wedding venue is located in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. Immersed in centuries of history, the venue has been recently renovated and is now privately owned.
We checked out the venue’s barn, where our 2018 bride Julie will be hosting her evening reception. With its exposed beams and original stonework, this venue will look great with our uplighting, name projection and Dancing on the Clouds effects that Julie has requested for her special day! Next stop was King’s Lynn Town Hall, the venue for Richard and Erika’s wedding reception in just a few weeks’ time. Located in the heart of the West Norfolk town, the King’ Lynn Town Hall is a beautiful wedding venue. From the stone floor and oak beamed ceiling of its Stone Hall to the ornate features of the Georgian Assembly Room, the Town Hall offers a beautifully elegant and regal feel.
We checked out the Assembly Room, where Richard and Erika will be hosting their evening reception, and finalised the details of our wedding disco package with the venue. Images courtesy of www.kingslynntownhall.com.
It was great to visit these two beautiful Norfolk wedding venues, and meet some of the people who are behind their quality events and wedding packages. We can’t wait to come back again soon to provide the entertainment at two more gorgeous weddings!
